Team History and Awards
Bearden High School, located in Knoxville, Tennessee, fields athletic teams known as the Bulldogs, wearing maroon and gray. The football program has a playoff history with a championship record of 15–25 across 25 postseason appearances, including consistent showings from 2000 through 2024.
The Bulldogs have yet to capture a state football championship but remain competitive in Class 6A, consistently advancing into postseason play.

Team Highlights and Star Players
- Davis Tull (LB, Class of 2010): Played at Chattanooga; drafted by the New Orleans Saints in 2015.
- Jaheim Merriweather (ATH, Class of 2024): Recent standout player.
- Devrin Young: Former star running back and kick returner.
- Nate Adkins (TE): NFL tight end, currently with the Denver Broncos.
